About Us
Catahoula's in historic
Grand Coteau, Louisiana has been serving extraordinary seafood since
the summer of 1996, and now we have our first puppy. Borrowing on
our reputation of more than 10 years, we have opened Catahoula's on
Pinhook, a restaurant specializing in superb beef and meats with a
touch of the sea.
Chef Jude
Tauzin heads up the kitchens in both restaurants creating a
distinct fare for each with James Johnson in Grand Coteau and Willie Gaspard on Pinhook as Chefs de Cuisine.
Featured in
both Gourmet and Southern Living magazines, Catahoula's cuisine can be described
as South Louisiana with sophisticated influences. Allow us to entertain you with fine dining in both
locations.
The
restaurant is named for the Catahoula Hound, Louisiana's State Dog.
